OCOG’s 25th anniversary fundraiser featuring bestselling author J.D. Vance

More than 350 people attended the 25th anniversary fundraiser for the Ohio Coalition for Open Government, headlined by bestselling author J.D. Vance.

The fundraiser featured both a speech and a discussion with Vance, whose Hillbilly Elegy points to many of the challenges Ohio is currently facing.

ABOUT OCOG

The Ohio Coalition for Open Government (OCOG) is a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) nonprofit which serves as a clearinghouse for media and citizen grievances that involve open meetings and open records. The activities of the Coalition include monitoring government officials for open government compliance, filing “amicus” briefs in lawsuits, litigation and public education.
